    • The Regional Training Center (RTC), is strategically located within the Regional Office compound, nestled between the National Food Authority and the Department of Health, approximately eight (😎 kilometers from the city center. Spanning two hectares, RTC offers a diverse UTPRAS-registered qualifications, designed to equip graduates with skills for gainful employment. These include Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) NC II, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Servicing (DomRAC) NC II, Carpentry NC II, Masonry NC II, Automotive Servicing NC I, Automotive Servicing (Engine Repair) NC II, Driving NC II, Driving NC III (Straight Truck/Passenger Bus), Motorcycle/Small Engine Servicing NC II, Housekeeping NC II, Cookery NC II, Electronic Products Assembly and Servicing (EPAS) NC II, Electrical Installation and Maintenance (EIM) NC II, Electrical Installation and Maintenance (EIM) NC III, Organic Agriculture Production (OAP) NC II, Photovoltaic Systems Installation NC II, Photovoltaic Systems Servicing NC II and Trainers Methodology Level I. To ensure practical skill development, it utilizes a competency-based training approach and ensures full-packaged learning though Supervised Industry Learning (SIL). This hands-on experience is complemented by accessible community-based and mobile training programs, extending learning opportunities beyond the center's walls. Recognizing the importance of holistic development, RTC integrates non-training activities into its programs, fostering well-rounded individuals and responsible citizens. These activities include Training Induction Programs, symposia, sports, social/spiritual events, 5S implementation, Clean and Green initiatives, Job Induction Programs, Gender and Development programs, guidance and counseling, and health services. A memorandum of agreement with Lutheran Clinic ensures access to quality healthcare for staff and trainees. Guided by its vision to be the "Center of Technical Vocational Education and TVET Innovation in Region 02," and its mission to "provide high-quality, industry-relevant Technical Education and Competency Assessments that equip learners with positive work values," RTC strives for excellence. The center's commitment to quality is evidenced by its achievements, including System for TVET Accreditation and Recognition (STAR) awards for EIM NC II (1-STAR for three consecutive years), Housekeeping NC II (1-STAR), Automotive Servicing NC I (1-STAR) and Electronic Products Assembly and Servicing NC II (1-STAR). RTC has also received the TESDA SEAL of Integrity regional award, the Best TESDA Technology Institution in 2019, and a national finalist in 2023. Course Description:

This course provides hands-on training in assembling electronic products and systems according to industry standards and technical specifications. Students will learn to interpret assembly drawings, follow schematic diagrams, handle electronic components, and use hand tools and testing equipment safely and effectively. Emphasis is placed on quality control, soldering techniques, component identification, circuit board assembly, and adherence to occupational health and safety procedures.

By the end of the course, learners will be able to confidently assemble a range of electronic devices, perform basic testing, and troubleshoot common assembly issues. This course is ideal for individuals pursuing a career in electronics manufacturing, repair, or prototyping.
